We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for people aged 60 and over and anyone facing mobility or health challenges.

At Community Action Malvern and District, we are committed to providing a wide range of services to meet the needs of our community. Our dedicated team helps to organise services including a door-to-door Car Service, Out and About activities, Minibus Hire, Wheelchair Vehicles, Sunday Tea Clubs, Film Club, and Men’s Shed. Services we offer

Car Service

Our car service is for people aged 60 and over who are unable to travel independently, or anyone facing mobility or health challenges. We provide transport for medical and other needs, such as going to the shops, hairdressers or to visit a friend.

Film Club 

Fancy making new friends and taking in a film, classic or new? Why not join us at our Film club, hosted by our partners The Cube. The Cube also provide a tasty lunch if you fancy joining them for this too.

Out and About

Our door-to-door minibus service offers 60+ and disabled people the chance to get out and about and make new friends. The service is led by the people we support, they chose where they would like to go and if we can, we make it happen!

Community Bus

We run three Community Bus Services that help people to get out and about, meet with friends and do a bit of shopping. This is a ring and book service only. Please allow a minimum of 48 hours before travel. To book please call 01684 892 381.​

Volunteering

We recruit volunteers to match their skills, experience and interests to suitable volunteering roles, providing advice and information on a range of volunteer roles. We also help community groups through networking and relevant training.

Wheelchair Vehicles

We have Wheelchair Access Vehicles available for medical and social occasions. For medical appointments, call us to arrange a volunteer driver. For social occasions, use a volunteer driver or a familiarised family member or friend.

Men's Sheds

Men’s Sheds offers a relaxed space for all ages to socialise, get creative and learn new skills in a relaxed and friendly environment. Practical skills shared include woodworking, with mixed sessions available for both men and women.

Minibus Hire

We currently run three minibuses for the use of local groups, organisations and individuals, such as church groups, Scouts, Girl Guides, youth groups, retirement homes, etc. Two buses are fitted with hydraulic rear passenger lifts.

Sunday Tea Club

Our Sunday Tea Clubs are great fun!
Our tea clubs provide a lovely social get-together for people who are looking for a bit of company on a Sunday afternoon.
